Sky Arts Week

This week in DT, we created our Tudor rose cross-stitch design. We used Aida fabric and thread to create our design. We used a template of squares to follow a pattern to create our rose. It was important to not use thread which was too long so it did not get tangled. When we got to the end of the thread, we learned to tie a knot to use a new piece. We made sure to move our needle diagonally and then straight to form our crosses.

06.10.2022 Junior Supremo Training

Some of the children in Year 5 had the opportunity to learn to be a play leader. They took part in team building games. They learned how to be a leader and encouraged others. They had to work together to complete tasks. They learned new games they can play on the playground. They had mini competitions against each other, using the new games they had learned.
