OFSTED rating and reportsInspectors visited Rushy Meadow in June 2025. As a result of their inspection, they have judged that the school has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection.
The inspection captures a number of the things that make us successful. Our first priority as a school is to ensure pupils are happy and safe. It is lovely to see that the report reflects this as well as identifying that pupils enjoy coming to this school.
We have always believed that it is the pupils who make Rushy Meadow a wonderful place to learn; the report notes that they respond with focus, curiosity and pride, whilst having positive attitudes to their work and each other.
During the visit the inspectors spoke to teachers, leaders, support staff, Academy trustees, governors, pupils and parents too. The pupils were fantastic; they spoke intelligently and articulately to the inspectors. Also, the parents who spoke to the inspectors and those who completed the online survey made extremely positive comments. All of this is a genuine reflection of our school motto in action:
