Odd Socks

Hello everyone,

On Monday 16th November it is ‘Odd Socks Day’!

We are encouraging the children to come to school in odd socks as part of our Antibullying week.

Anti-Bullying week will run from 16th  to the 20th  November.  The theme this year is United Against Bullying and at Rushy Meadow will be thinking about how we create a safe environment for everyone.

Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It is an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!

Children will need to wear their full school uniform except for the odd socks.

While I’m talking about things to wear, I thought I would share the latest photo of Elsie.  Elsie has had her first hair cut and is now feeling the cold so she has a jumper to keep her warm!

Best wishes

Ms Bretherick
